My chosen print on demand method of publication has two advantages: first, my book will never go out of print, and second, the initial cost of publication was reasonably inexpensive.
But this new method of publication still has one major disadvantage for me: the publisher's retail price of $25.95 (plus $4.00 for shipping and handling), though not unusually high for a college textbook, is unusually high for a 220 page trade book aimed at a general audience.
Of course, one can also purchase an electronic copy for $6.00, and I shall continue to make chapters available for free downloading on this website. But I'm also looking for ways to lower the price of the book itself.
The best way to do this at the present time is to make use of my author's discount and to sell copies myself. So for as long as supplies last (which means for as long as this notice appears here), I'm offering the book for $18.95 (plus $1.00 for shipping and handling).
Just fill out an order form, which you can find by clicking here , and send it to:

I'll try to ship a copy of the book in less than two weeks after receiving an order.
